Sometimes it works, Its is the only method that seams to have an immediate effect besides just waiting forever and watching your order skipped and the price shoot up beyond your bid. I usually start my initial order close to the ask price, than run multiple orders down from there. The idea is for me to set an artificial ask trending lower, this makes my initial order a sweeter deal for the market maker to execute in-order to sustain upwards momentum. If any orders are filled my broker automatically cancels the higher bid.Another method I have tried is to put a crap load of fill or kill orders in trending lower and lower than a order close to the ask and sometimes it is filled. It is difficult and sometimes I get beat. As for your question TheProud, No im not a profesional trader per say I have just learned a few things along the way. Traditionally I am an investor but with the current market state until I believe we have hit a bottom I have been channeling and using profits to off set my losses. By stockpiling profit I hope to invest what I have made channeling into long term and short term investments. A hold has been self implied upon my true investments. T be honest though I have made MUCH more money trading than investing.

Oh yeah I've had my order skipped...I try to beat it by putting multiple orders in spreading the Level two inside quote. This is a typical issue with Pinks and OTC stocks it is the sacrifice for being the venture investors and having big gains.
