Nov 24, 2008 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Service upgrades will affect performance and delivery for the next 7 to 14 days, yesterday we had a brief service attack however our security shut down the attack and service returned to normal within hours.
Search has increased some 28% in speed; we look forward to integrating new search features including suggested search, related search and spell checking.
Search is currently being used more than ever by our visitors and licensee's.
Ad network We are pleased to see demand for our advertising services has increased since the launch of our SEO and E-Commerce Marketing services. Agents of Buzz will be launching the service in many new countries in the coming weeks which should further drive ad sales. We are expanding local staff for the Ad Agency.

Offering a bunch of services at once is sometimes not as good as offering one service and offering it well. The leaders of VOIP - vonage, skype, are very focused on perfecting it. Could be hard for buzz to penetrate this market.

Justaslice, True, there are a number of VOIP service providers out there. But remember, Buzz would not simply be just another VOIP company, no more than they are just another search engine. They could distinguish themselves from their competitors based on a basket or group of services they can offer at once, for a competitive rate. This would also raise their visibility. Voip could be a significant factor among all they would offer the US. And the timing of this venture is crucial. The timing is now. Next year, as we both agree, tech will return. And for those who are ready to take advantage of the opportunity, they will be the immediate, and long term winners.

I don't think VOIP will be the home run Bothwings. It's been done by somany companies at this point and the market is saturated.

stock_gopher, and sidewinder, Thank you both. I feel that Buzz will not disappoint us next year. However, I am curious about the status of their beta testing for VOIP. Once they offer it here in North America, and people subscribe to it, and are happy with the service, we're all going to realize part , if not all of our immediate dreams about the company. IPO, or not, it is very crucial that they launch that service here, and in the near future. But they're some bright people who run the company. I'm sure they know what they need to do at this point. As for Barack Obama, he'll have less excuse not producing what he has promised, seeing that the majority of congress, like himself, are democrat. They're all on the same team. It is assumed they all want the same thing? So there will be no excuses for not getting his agenda passed. As his agenda would best benefit the nation, I bid them God speed. And I'm republican, as well as a capitalist. For whatever that's worth.

Oh yes = Bothwings is on the money, but Buzz has to deliver the goods. It will be a tough road, but they are making strides.

Bothwings - you are more than on to something. I greatly enjoyed reading that rant on our current situation. Tech has legs to run. Obama is potentially the greatest 'yes' man our country has ever seen. We will see how many promises he follows through on in due time. Will be increasing my position in Buzz, but am cautious about their growth strategies and the staying power of many of these fly by night asian tech deals. best wishes,

stock_gopher, At the present, there is a general discontent with the whole investing idea. The worst part is, people have lost faith and trust in investing. People have lost homes, while others are in the process of losing theirs. The demise of major banks like WAMU, Leyman Brothers, certain other banks, and then the top 3 American auto-manufacturers begging for a bail out, after maintaining a self destructive philosophy for decades. And don't forget the closing of several major chain department and furniture stores. People simply don't trust corporate America enough to invest in them any more. And then there is the loathing with disgust for George Bush and his "war on terrorism." With the election of Barak Obama as president, people genuinely feel there is hope for a brighter future, based on Obama's rhetoric. With his presidency, comes the perception that markets will make a turn for the better. And I think they will. People want to believe and live the American dream again. The new president seems to bring hope to that end. As a result, people will began to invest again in mass in areas probably other than the financial industry. America has always been a nation poised with hope for a bigger, better, and brighter tomorrow. (With bigots of every sort, not withstanding.) And there is nothing like expressing one's hope in a more prosperous tomorrow than investing in technology. As a nation, we have a huge culture of "futurism." Futurism is technology. Altruism aside. There's nothing like the latest affordable gadget, to distract you from the depressing present. Especially if it is computer based. And these are among other reasons why I say tech is coming back next year.
