TaiwaneseChallenger won his 4th Stock Challenge Wednesday after his two winning selections finished the month strong. The long-time member achieved a 62.46% combined average return on the month.
Sensio Technologies wins April Stock Challenge
TaiwaneseChallenger’s big pick for April was Sensio Technologies (SIO:TSXV). The stock closed for trading on March 31st at $0.15 per share. The stock rose as high as $0.345 per share before selling off to a low of $0.24 Wednesday, only to rebound to close at $0.29 per share.
Sensio provided TaiwaneseChallenger almost a perfect 100% return in the month of April.

There were two Samsung Galaxy Tablets up for grabs in April’s Stock Challenge for both 1st and 2nd place.
Members Rainendown and demenace both selected Stakeholder Gold Corp. (SRC:TSXV) for April’s Stock Challenge and it paid off big time. Rainendown held onto second place with a 40% combined average return, while demenace came in 4th with a 28% combined average return.
Member pullsee made an incredible run at 2nd place and even took the lead from Rainendown on the final day of trading, but in the end fell just short. pullsee had an epic second last day of the Challenge as both of his selections rallied to catapult him into 4th place at the end of trading Tuesday. After a brief stint in second spot Wednesday, the newcomer to the Stock Challenge fell back into 3rd place – just one spot away from winning a Samsung Galaxy Tablet.
pullsee finished the month with a phenomenal 38% combined average return.
Rainendown finished in the prize position of second place and will be awarded a Samsung Galaxy tablet 3 7.0.
TaiwaneseChallenger’s top pick of SENSIO Technologies Inc. was founded in 1999 and describes itself as a pioneer in the 3D industry. Its vision, expertise and state-of-the-art solutions, based on diversified stereoscopic image-processing technologies, have been trusted by some of the biggest names in the broadcasting and consumer electronics sectors.
On April 29th Sensio announced that after three quarters, the Company’s revenues had climbed to $596K from $316K in the same period last year. Third quarter revenues were reported at $156K, up $43K or 38% compared to the same quarter last year. A timely development for TaiwaneseChallenger.
Member ‘pullsee’ has been awarded the People’s Champ for April. pullsee was the clear choice as he came on strong at the end and just ran out of time as his leading pick continued to hit new 52-week highs right up to the last trading day. pullsee had some of us believing he could take the 2nd place spot from Rainendown.
Empire Industries (EIL:TSXV) was pullsee’s top selection for April and rose from $0.11 to a new 52-week high of $0.165 per share during April. Empire traded nearly 2 million shares Wednesday and closed up 13% to a new 52-week high.
It will be interesting to see what the next few days bring for Empire. If the month had been a couple days longer it could have been an entirely different outcome. That is the nature of Pinnacle’s Stock Challenge and a reminder that timing is everything.
The People’s Champ is a selective award associated with Pinnacle’s Stock Challenge, and is given to the participant who failed to win, but nonetheless made a name for themself. It comes with no prizes and unfortunately, no glory.

TaiwaneseChallenger came 4th in December 2013, when he put up a combined average return of 58% and 2nd place in October with a combined average return of 62.87%. He was most recently crowned in September 2013 when he put up a combined average return of 48.89%. In April it was another 62% combined average return. Incredible.
TaiwaneseChallenger has reached legendary status in this community and his consistency in the Stock Challenge has been nothing short of impressive. Our hat goes off to the 4-time champion.
