Goliath Resources Breaks Out While Outcrop Gold Breaks Down
Goliath Resources
Goliath Resources Ltd. took home today’s biggest stock breakout, having risen 30.77% from C$0.07 to C$0.09. Last month, Goliath Resources announced it would be beginning a new geophysical survey on its Lorne Creek Au-Cu-Mo porphyry system after positive drill core observations.
Mr. Roger Rosmus, CEO and Director of Goliath states: “This discovery has attracted interest from many senior mining companies. With positive assay results, the Lorne Creek Au-Cu-Mo Porphyry System could quickly evolve into the next big porphyry discovery that is close to existing infrastructure. We are extremely encouraged that all three holes have widely disseminated sulphides from surface to end of each hole drilled. We look forward to reporting our 2019 drilling results.”
Outcrop Gold
Outcrop Gold Corp. on the other hand, suffered the biggest stock breakdown of the day by falling 38.30% from C$0.20 to C$0.14. Outcrop Gold hasn’t provided an official update to the market since May 2019, when it announced that it had entered into an agreement with Cedar Capital Corporation to acquire the Santa Ana Silver Project.
“The [Santa Ana Silver Project] comprises 669 hectares in the core of the historical Mariquita silver district, one of Colombia’s most prolific colonial silver mining camps with production dating back to the 16th century and continuing until at least 1914.”
